Midnight Is A Place - 17 David Collings Icons

So I recently got hold of a copy of ITV's 1977/78 serialisation of Joan Aiken's YA novel Midnight Is A Place, which features David Collings as Mr Oakapple (the children's tutor and main adult role). So I made some icons (well, I made rather a silly amount of icons, both from it and quotes from the book; the full batch are here) but these are probably the ones relevant to this comm:

It is probably worth mentioning that I am about as certain as I can be that he also sings the theme song for it. See what you think.

Fic: Robophobia (and How To Cure It)

I did promise that I would bring fic, so here it is. This was written a while ago as part of a series of alternate exits for DW companions (based on the premise that if Leela can leave to marry Andred, then any companion could just as easily marry any other random character they chose). And, yes, some of them were very silly, but not this one, which is a Leela/Poul AU for Robots of Death.

Robophobia (And How To Cure It) (2575 words) by faviconlost_spook
Fandom: Doctor Who, Doctor Who (1963), Doctor Who & Related Fandoms
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Leela/Ander Poul
Characters: Leela (Doctor Who), Ander Poul, Kiy Uvanov, Lish Toos, D84

The Robots of Death - Leela: This savage makes her own decisions (as ever) and Poul wonders how mad is a man with Robophobia.

(Originally here at the Teaspoon, but there's no denying AO3's share function is a handy thing).

Full Fathom Five

It's been a looong time since I've posted. But I recently finished a piece for a friend of mine who commissioned me for an image from the Big Finish Audio Full Fathom Five (he obviously knew the way to get on my good side).
So I drew the version of the badass Alternate Universe Doctor played by David Collings

Two Gentleman of Verona Works

I have to say, the 80's were not kind to hair in general, but of course David Collings always makes me forget that fact...

This is his character Thurio from the Shakespeare play The Two Gentleman of Verona, of which he was cast alongside a multitude of Scott Baio lookalikes *shudder*

Collings as Artist Picspam Alert

I know it's been ages, but I'm finally getting around to posting some screencaps of David from an episode of Danger Man back in the 1960's.
Sure it was a very small part, but oh so sweet. I've never seen David this moody before in any of his roles..including Mawdryn!
So hell for us artists he relates...

Hope you guys enjoy them!
